On March 11th 2011, I was in a accident at my place of work, I was entangled in a ground level grain auger, after a sheild gave out, I was able to rip myself away from the equiptment, I had no idea what damage had been done. I then had to hop on my right leg (bout 100 or so feet) to get the attention of a fellow employee. After being stablized I was air lifted to North Memorial, were there preformed 5 surgerys, and i was a resident for the next 12 days, after which i was releases under my own free will, i then returned home. and now after 4 months from the day i lost my leg, I have received my new Otto Bock Harmony HD prosthetic.
